Mouse support is supposedly part of the net big Xbox update within the next couple of weeks. In fact, manufacturer HORI is ready for it already since the TAC Pro One showed up on their website. The Tactical Assault Commander (T.A.C. for short) Pro One is a mouse and small-keyboard combo similar to the TAC Pro for the PS4. However, this one is specifically for Xbox One use and according to the product page, the first officially licensed mouse + keyboard combo by Microsoft.
The cool thing about the Tactical Assault Commander PRO One is that it is also compatible for PC use. It is plug-and-play on both Xbox One and PC platforms so its ready to use right out of the box. No drivers or software installation necessary. The keyboard is fully programmable and has an analog controller on the thumb. All the switches on the keyboard use Hori original mechanical key witches and are LED backlit.
It also has a sizable wrist-rest so the user does not strain with long periods of use. This wrist rest is also adjustable to allow for various user sizes. The mouse uses an optical sensor capable of up to 3200 DPI and comes in matching white color. With the TAC mobile app, users can also adjust layouts, sensitivity settings and other options via their mobile phone or device without installing software on the PC.
Pricing and Availability
The release date is for October 30, which is most likely close to the actual update release date as well. HORI USA is listing the price on their website at $149.99 USD.
