The Galaxy GTX 680 Hall of Fame Edition we showed you nearly a month ago has finally arrived in Europe under the KFA2 branding at Overclockers UK. The KFA2 GTX 680 is overclocked out of the box with speeds of 1202MHz core (1267MHz boost) and reference 6008MHz effective memory clock. Featuring a white PCB this card certainly has a unique design trait that almost all other graphics cards do not possess (we do not know know of another white GTX 680 on the market).
The KFA2 GTX 680 Hall of Fame edition will feature highest speed binned GTX 680 chips with the highest grade components to give the best performance and greatest overclocking capabilities. The GTX 680 HOF uses a custom triple LED fan cooling solution. The GK104 chip is powered by a rather monstrous 8+2+2 phase VRM which uses International Rectifier DirectFETs and high-grade chokes. There is also a Galaxy designed VRM controller in the form of the GX 31 chip. Power requirements have been increased due to the beefy VRM, two 6 pins is replaced with two 8 pins. Galaxy will also provide exclusive voltage and power monitoring software to go with its fully customised VRM and power solution.
There is a dual-BIOS fitted to give you an opportunity to store multiple overclocking profiles and tweak one BIOS without risking the integrity of your card by baking the BIOS. Display outputs include one standard-sized DisplayPort, and three mini-DisplayPort connectors.
Overclockers UK say the card will begin shipping out to customers on May the 11th at a price of £529.99.
