KFA2 are easily one of my favourite GPU manufacturers, mostly because I’m a sucker for those white PCBs they use, as they really stand out from the crowd. Their Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 HOF (Hall of Fame) graphics card was and still is an incredible card, but they’ve taken it back to the drawing board and giving it an extra tweak to make it more competitive than ever before.
The new card, known as the GeForce GTX 780 HOF OC+, is still based around the exact same board design as the original, but the cards clock speeds have been given a slight bump from 1006 MHZ to 1019 MHz, both still a lot higher than the 863 MHz reference cards. GPU Boost is now 1071 MHz compared to the 1058 MHz of the original and 902 MHz of the reference.
Memory speeds have been kept steady at 6 GHz, but the card has now been bumped from just 3GB all the way up to 6GB over a 384-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface.
The company has yet to reveal pricing, but we would expect it to be a small premium over the previous model given that they’ve doubled the memory.
