KFA2 Launches 8Pack Designed GTX 980 Graphics Card

8Pack is without a doubt one of the most skilled overclockers and as such it’s no surprise that some of the best hardware manufacturers want his input on how to create the best product with that in mind. We’ve previously seen the impressive 2000W PSU from Super Flower, and this time it is KFA2 that teamed up with 8Pack to create a beast of a graphics card.
The new card resembles the latest KFA2 cards with the triple fan cooler, but this time we also get the 8Pack branding on both the fans and the good looking backplate. The backplate helps both with the cooling of the card when those heavy clocks speeds are running as well as improving the overall sturdiness of the card and prevent PCB warping and bending from the cooler weight.
The selection process of the components to assemble the 8Pack Edition graphics cards is said to be unique, allowing only the highest GPU core and memory types to be used, but the card also uses uprated capacitors and VRM components to allow for even faster and more stable clock speeds.
All this power has to go somewhere and the 8Pack Edition comes with a factory set boots speed of 1440 MHz that is guaranteed, but how high you want to take the clocks yourself is your choice.
