2013 could be a good year for Kim Dotcom now that he would be getting the documents from NZ’s spy agency, the right to sue them and the local police and to top it all off, his new upcoming Mega website.
Kim Dotcom posted 3 new screenshots of his new upcoming mega service, which will be hosted as mega.co.nz.
The screenshots show that the new site will use 2048-bit RSA Encryption keys, an account registration service and a fully fledged (by the looks of it) file manager, hence people will be having their own private cloud storage system. The window above shows file names, size, transfer types, status progress bar with performance, speed, elapsed and remaining time, ability to organize filers and also there’s also an inbox & contacts section which most likely will let members to contact other members as well. By the looks of the screenshots, this seem to be very good cloud service features to be honest.
Kim Dotcom plans to officially launch this on January 19th, the 1 year anniversary of the police raid on his house in New Zealand by the members of the Elite Special Tactics Group.
