Kingston HyperX ’10th Anniversary’ DDR3 1866MHz 8GB Memory Kit Review
Chris Hadley / 12 years ago
Whilst this is a Limited Edition kit, Kingston know that they don’t to put the kits into any flashy packaging saying look at me. They know that it will sell itself as after all the memory is what its all about.
Looking at the modules, we can see that Kingston have not gone over the top with their heat spreader design and why need to? On the whole their kits have had a refined look over the years and this one follows along the same path with grey/silver colour and the HyperX ‘X’ standing out in the middle. We can see that the words Limited Edition don’t appear on the modules as the 10 years logo to the right says that in its own right.
Over on the other side of the modules the same raised X still prevails, but instead of the HyperX and 10 year logos we find the Kingston mark and a sticker with the module specs.
Kingston kits are a little harder to decipher from the label (although more information is detailed on the pack, but all we need to note is the model number of this kit which is KHX18C9X3K2/8X.
