Kingston HyperX Beast DDR3 2400MHz 8GB Memory Kit Review

Kingston in the long and short of it are regarded as the biggest memory manufacturer in the world, but we’ve seen many other brands trying to take a specialist segment of the market; the high end of the scale, though Kingston had always reserved certain products for this market place.

HyperX has always been branded as Kingston’s higher-end range of memory modules and since the launch, the company have sub-branded off of this with the invention of the Predator range which we looked at back in September and now the newest range of modules aimed at overclockers, modding enthusiasts and games alike, and it’s called “Beast”.

How Beast differs from other modules from Kingston is down to the components beneath, such as specially picked IC’s to gain the very best performance and overclockability, that we’ve seen from other big players in the market, such as G.Skill and Team Group.

Generally when you see high-end memory, we find fast speeds and outstanding performance, but the Beast range of skus include sizes up to 64GB and as the name suggests, it should be an outstanding performer, which finds us looking at a kit today.

Today we have their 8GB 2400MHz dual-channel kit which incorporates a completely new stylish black design heatspreaders which should yield outstanding performance, so lets get straight into it and see what this memory can do at stock and once overclocked.
