Whilst Kingston’s name is synonymous with storage products and system memory, believe it or not they also have a couple of peripherals that bear the HyperX title. We took a look at their HyperX Gaming headset in the latter part of last year, and whilst it was basically a Siberia V2 headset underneath, it was also a great start to a line of peripherals.
Alongside the group of flash and solid state drives that was on show at this mini event, to one side we found a new headset that bears the full HyperX branding. Built around a pair of 53mm drivers, the Cloud also has a lightweight aluminium frame with a leather padded band across the top and removable / interchangeable ear cups for optimum comfort. On top of this, Kingston have given this headset an removable microphone and the unit comes with twin 3.5mm plugs for audio and microphone. Pricing wise we should be seeing this headset appear at he end of April for around £60-70 although pricing has not been confirmed at this moment in time.
