Drive Comparison
Whilst there is a slight difference in random read speed with the drive volume empty, in a real world situation where data is actually stored on the drive, the difference between a fresh and conditioned state is so close that we can say there is not degradation in performance as the drive wears. Naturally the random read speed will drop slightly as the volume fills, but this is as expected for any drive.
