Kingston HyperX Lovo 1866MHz Low Voltage Memory Kit Review

Final ThoughtsLet’s start things off by talking about the overall design and styling which personally we feel suits the name and branding of the memory perfectly. It gives off an eco-type feel with its green heatspreaders and straight away differentiates between other memory on the market.
The stock speed for this memory is fantastic, which may not seem it at first, but for a kit that operates at a low voltage of 1.35V it really does surpass all expectations, and if running at a slightly slower 1600MHz, the voltage will drop even more, down to 1.25V.
Overclocking saw some major upsets with all tests showing that the memory actually performed worse than when it was at stock speeds leading us to see that Kingston really have squeezed out the maximum performance from this low voltage kit.
Pros:
- Unique colour scheme
- Low voltage
- Lifetime warranty
- Fast speeds
Cons:
- Colour scheme may not match your system components
- Overclocking saw worse performance compared to stock
