Kingston NaVi Limited Edition DDR3 1600MHz 8GB Memory Kit Review

A Closer Look

The RAM kit uses the normal HyperX heat spreader but with a textured yellow finish and the NaVi logo. There is also a black PCB which is great news for the unit’s aesthetics.

With it installed in your system the kit will stand out like a sore thumb unless you have something yellow to coordinate it with. It is a very bold look, I think you could only pull this off with something like the MSI Z87 MPower Max.

These modules are just normal height so will be compatible with everything on the market. Though I can’t imagine you’d want to cover them up otherwise it spoils the point of buying a limited edition yellow memory kit.

  1. I think they’re fine. I wouldn’t hesitate to chuck them in my rig. I like the colour of the spreaders & PCB as well. They’re more than enough for any gaming rig but probably will disappoint an enthusiast.
