Kingston Unveils The HyperX Predator Refresh DDR4 Series

Kingston is one of the most respected brands in the computer industry and produces a wide range of memory products at very respectable prices. For instance, the company’s HyperX Fury memory targets mainstream users and prioritises affordability over extreme frequencies or a lavish design philosophy. Therefore, it’s possible to find large capacity kits with low timings, and good memory speeds. Of course, it’s not designed to compete with the higher-end G.Skill modules which target a completely different kind of customer. On another note, the HyperX Predator range features larger heat spreaders and a really attractive appearance.
Despite the current series being more than ample for user requirements, Kingston has decided to update it with a more aggressive design strategy. The new HyperX Predator Refresh offers greater heat dissipation via a black aluminium heat spreader. Not only that, the black PCB compliments the colour scheme rather nicely. More impressively, the modules opt for low latencies between CL15-CL16 while offering speeds up to 3333MHz. Furthermore, capacities will be available up to 64GB which is more than enough to please even the most demanding usage scenarios. Judging from the photograph, the modules don’t seem as tall but this could be an illusion. I do like the new stealth design and excellent latencies.
