KISS Ltd, the digital distribution management company, and Groupees a site that offers unique game and music bundle promotions, today called for submissions to their charity bundle which launches on 2nd July 2013, supporting SpecialEffect.
The PC bundle will be available to download from www.groupees.com for a limited time only. Gamers will be invited to build their own bundle picking two games for a minimum payment of $1.50 and adding additional games for $0.75 each. Customers will also receive two bonus games, once when 5,000 sales are achieved and another at 8,000 sales.
“People with all kinds of disabilities are desperate to enjoy the kind of fun and inclusion that we take for granted,” said SpecialEffect CEO Mick Donegan. “As we help disabled gamers on an individual basis, we’re being inundated with requests for help from across the UK and beyond, so it’s fantastic that KISS and Groupees are offering an opportunity for gamers themselves to really make a difference.”
Buying the SpecialEffect bundle will directly impact the lives of people with all kinds of needs, including stroke and road traffic accident patients, individuals with life-limiting conditions and injured soldiers returning from overseas.
One example is Isaac, a fanatical gamer who has no arms. SpecialEffect have helped him to play PC games using eye-control technology. A short video of Isaac controlling a racing game just using his eyes can be seen below.
