ESSENCORE Unveils KLEVV CRAS C920 & C720 M.2 NVMe SSDs

ESSENCORE has unveiled the new KLEVV CRAS C920 and KLEVV CRAS C720 SSDs, which will be available in the M.2-2280 form-factor. Firstly, the CRAS C920 uses PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface, as well as the Phison E18-series controller, and 3D TLC NAND flash memory. It’ll be available in 1TB and 2TB variants, both of which offer sequential reads of up to 7,000 MB/s, and write speeds of up to 6,850 MB/s on the 2TB and 5,500 MB/s for the 1TB variant.

Following that, they have the KLEVV CRAS C720. A slightly more affordable model that combines the latest revision of the Phison E12S controller and 3D TLC NAND flash. However, this one uses the older PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface. It’ll be available in capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The 256GB features sequential speeds of up to 3,200 MB/s with up to 1,300 MB/s writes. However, the other models go up to 3,400 MB/s sequential reads, and 2,400 MB/s, 3,100 MB/s, and 3,100 MB/s write speeds as the capacity increases.

CRAS C920 – The Full Power of PCIe 4.0

Utilizing the latest PCle 4.0 technology, KLEVV‘s CRAS C920 SSD offers up to 2-3 times the speed of current mainstream PCle Gen3 SSDs. This SSD boasts speeds of up to 7000 MB/s read and 6850 MB/s write and is available in both 1 TB and 2 TB capacities. Compatible with the latest Intel and AMD platforms, the CRAS C920 can help you deliver all of the enhanced performance of the newest chipsets and CPUs.

CRAS C720 – The Smart Upgrade Choice

The PCIe Gen 3 x4 CRAS C720 is a smart and affordable upgrade that can raise your system to a new level, with speeds up to 3400 MB/s read and 3100 MB/s write. By using extensive testing and verification, CRAS C720 is able to offer long term reliability. And it is available in capacities from 256 GB to 2 TB to suit all storage scenarios.

What ESSENCORE Had to Say

“KLEVV’s C920 and C720 are packed with advanced features to enhance whole-system performance, SSD lifetime, and value. The intelligent SLC caching algorithm brings high endurance and optimized performance. A hardware LDPC ECC Engine also enhances endurance – and, together with the thermal throttling algorithm and SRAM error handling, guards data integrity, too. These drives also use advanced 3D NAND technology, the assurance of Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T), plus a five-year limited warranty. Included is Acronis True Image HD 2018 software for easy full disk-image backup and data migration from older drives.”

Price and Availability

KLEVV products are distributed by Memory Technology Middle East Fzco/TSSC FZCO in Dubai. All lineups are available at local online/offline channels. For more information, visit the product pages of the CRAS C920 and CRAS C720.
