KLEVV CRAS V RGB 32GB 7600MHz DDR5 Memory Review

A Closer Look
KLEVV has always positioned itself as a flagship and premium quality brand, and with the launch of the new CRAS V, that certainly hasn’t changed. Honestly, this is some of the best memory I’ve ever seen, and well, maybe actually the very best in terms of overall look and feel. They’re aluminium, much like pretty much all RAM, but it just feels more premium than pretty much any rival, perhaps only rivalled by the Corsair Dominator series in that regard. The powder-coated black finish is super slick, and a little understated, which I like. Of course, less-so understated when you power on the RGB, but I think it provides a great contrast for the lighting.
Even the logos and branding are kept pretty understated, with a slightly glossy black KLEVV login in the corner. The CRAV V RGB branding is raised from the body slightly, and on a slightly angled panel, so it’ll be visible while looking down from the top of the RAM as it sits in your motherboard.
Down the spine, you’ll find a large RGB diffuser, allowing you to add all your favourite colours and effects, and it’s compatible with all the major motherboard RGB control software.
Stripping it down, we can see and feel that the aluminium heatspreaders are of great quality, with a good thickness, and good quality thermal pads, so I have confidence that the overall cooling capabilities should be great, but we’ll be testing that shortly anyway.
Being DDR5 the power control is built into the DIMMS, and that too has been given a contact pad, ensuring it is directly cooled by the heatsink.
The RGB is stunning on the CRAS V, with a nice transition of colours, excellent brightness, and extremely vibrant colours that really pop.
They’re some of the richest colours we’ve ever seen on RAM, and it looks even better thanks to that matte black finish of the aluminium heatspreaders providing a nice contrast.
