How Much Does it Cost?

The Kolink Observatory Z Mesh ARGB Super Midi Tower Case is available now from Overclockers UK for just £119.99, which is pretty reasonable given that it’s actually a fairly large and heavy case. Plus, you get four ARGB fans and that hub in the bundle too. It’s not “cheap” but you do get a decent case for your money, and I would point out that all case prices (much like most things) have gone up in price this last few months. I suspect two years ago this would have been a £100 case for sure.

Overview

Kolink continues to surprise and impress me. I think there’s a misconception that they’re a budget brand, albeit, they do have some very competitive and affordable products too. Sure, they don’t have the reputation of the more established gamer brands such as MSI, Corsair, ASUS, etc, but they’re taking steps in the right direction with every release.

Their Observatory series is their latest flagship line of cases, and it’s certainly as competitive as any of the other big names out there. There’s robust build quality throughout, with thick steel, a strong frame, and durable and well-finished plastics. It’s even painted well, giving it all a premium quality look and feel that we have come to expect from £100+ PC cases.

The smaller style details really make this a great case though. The flush-mounted glass on the side looks stunning, and there’s a black trim to tidy the edges, as well as foam padding on the interior to prevent vibrations. The large mesh front panel looks great, and again it has very clean flush-mounted look, with no big lumps and bumps that we often see on more “gamer” focused designs. Plus, the top panel looks awesome, with that thick dust filter, magnetic mounts, and a very comprehensive I/O panel.

On the interior, you get impressive hardware support, great cable management options, and flexible storage too. From the first-time systems builders to the enthusiast wanting a high-end liquid-cooled setup, the Observatory Z Mesh ARGB has something for everyone. The addition of four gorgeous ARGB fans with infinity mirror centres, dust filters, the huge PSU shroud, GPU anti-sag mount, and ARGB hub all just help sweeten the deal. Highly recommended!
