As a leading game developer and publisher, blue chip firm Konami is known to fans around the world as the maker of numerous game series spanning multiple genres.
Online social gaming has seen a significant rise in recent years, with Facebook games in particular gaining in popularity, so it should come as no surprise to hear that Konami has branched out into the social gaming market.
Konami representative Takeshi “Hari” Minagawa, explains the company’s decision:
“More and more people are using social media to communicate and we thought it would be great to provide our players with the chance to enjoy our games online.”
MO Group International now provides official community management services for Konami. For Mr Minagawa and the Konami team, the decision made sense:
“Working with MO Group International has been a positive experience. The quality and efficiency of their work is evident, and we have developed a fruitful working relationship that optimizes the community management process, which is great for us, and for the fans.”
MO Group International has extensive experience in the gaming and online marketing sectors, enabling them to deliver a combination of services to meet Konami’s needs. MO Group International’s Head of Business Operations, Orad Elkayam, reveals:
“As the popularity of online social gaming is increasing rapidly, the importance of interacting with your community is vital. Getting everyone involved means added enjoyment for the community, and more loyalty from players. We’re proud to be selected by Konami and look forward to helping their online presence grow.”
