LG to roll out two new Google TVs in 2013

LG has announced two Google TVs, set for release in 2013. The two new TVs will feature QWERTY remote controls and natural speech recognition.

The models that LG would be releasing are GA7900, with 472 and 55″ variant and GA6400, with 42″, 47″, 50″, 55″ and 60″ panels.

The QWERTY remote controls will have an integrated mic for receiving voice commands. GA7900 will be the top-of-the-line model which will feature edge lit LED with local dimming and a 240Hz refresh date. The GA6400 will be a edge-lit LED backlit panel with 120Hz Refresh rate. LG would also be including the OnLive Gaming Platform App, its own dashboard to display other apps and other content, including their own PrimeTrime Quick Guide for browsing TV shows and movies and lastly a web browser.

Pricing and availability is yet to be seen, but we would be expecting these to be on show during CES next month. As of now, Google TV uses the Honeycomb 3.2 Android OS.
