Lamptron CW611 Watercooling Fan Controller Review
Ryan Martin / 12 years ago
The front of the Lamptron CW611 uses a beautiful brushed aluminium finish and the LCD display is really striking.
The PCB is fully black which is great to see and features six fan inputs, a molex power connector, six temperature probes and a speaker/alarm covered with a protective sticker.
Here you can see the six fan inputs all of which are 3 pin. Naturally this fan controller will support both 3 and 4 pin fans because of the open ended nature of the connections.
From the side you can see the sturdy aluminium materials used to construct this fan controller that keep it rigid.
From the top you can see in more detail the components that are used to construct the CW611.
Taking a closer look at the front panel you can see the two inputs for controlling the device which include the rotary dial which also doubles as a button, and the button below that. These two inputs control everything and the instruction manual clearly demonstrates all the different combinations for them.
Here you can see a close up of the fan alarm.
Here are the six inputs for the 2 pin temperature probes, of which Lamptron does provide six and they are all fully sleeved black.
This is the molex connector used to power the CW611.
