Latest Aorus Laptops at Computex 2016

Aorus, the notebook division of Gigabyte, rarely disappoint, and with many of the best laptops and notebooks on the market today, we have been expecting some pretty great things from them at Computex 2016. Fortunately, for us, them and our readers, they didn’t disappoint one bit and rocked up with some very tasty hardware. First up, the World’s Most Powerful 15.6″ Laptop (above) is now the X5S v5, packing an i7 CPU with a GTX 980M graphics card. On top of that, you’ll find a true 4K panel, M.2 NVMe, DDR4, Type-C and all the other glorious acronyms we love in our systems.

Another welcome update is that the X7 and X5 laptops are getting a new 120Hz panel, even on the 4K models, making good use of the new high-end GPUs they contain. The spec cards say 9xx series, but we suspect these systems are actually 10xx ready and there’s just an NDA holding them back from saying so, we’ll find out soon enough if we’re right (I bet we are).

The X7DT is a VR powerhouse, featuring a full GTX 980 gpu that will tear through your gaming needs with ease, an Intel Core i7-6820HK running at 4GHz, G-Sync, M.2 PCIe NVMe and more, this thing is a serious performer that will put many desktop systems to shame with ease.

Where is the laptop? That gorgeous camo is something to behold, created using water transfer printing to create a truly one of a kind finish. So unique is the design that it’ll be limited to just 500, with ease signed on the base to prove it.

The new Aero 14 packs quite a punch too, with a choice of powerful Nvidia GPUs, Core i7 CPU, a 1440P panel, and a huge battery capacity for those who need to work a lot on the go.

With a carbon fiber back panel, available in orange, green and black, you’re sure to find an Aero 14 that best suits your taste.

VR, 4K, 120Hz and more all present and accounted for, 2016 is going to keep being an awesome year for Aorus!
