Trashcan shaped computers may get some mockery, but the latest from ASUS is anything but trash. The PA90 Mini PC takes up a tiny footprint on the desktop, although it does stand quite tall. It sports the mighty i9-9900K processor, paired with an Nvidia Quadro graphics. No doubt they’ll put together an RTX model if you desired too. For content creation and workstations, it’s pretty stylish, endlessly powerful and will no doubt be very popular.
This gorgeous curved ultrawide monitor sports a fantastic HDR UQWHD IPS HDR panel. It’ll run between 40-100Hz thanks to adaptive sync, and come pre-calibrated for 100% sRGB colour reproduction. However fancy it is, wait till you see the next monitor!
This magnificent monitor comes with a superb 4K panel. It features full DCI-P3 and Rec. 2020 colour spaces on its true 10-bit 32″ IPS panel. What’s so special about it is that it offers up 1200 nits peak brightness in HDR mode, with exceptional black levels. It does this thanks to its 1000 zone mini-LED backlighting technology. Even most enthusiast TVs barely top 300-400 backlighting zones. It’ll support HDR10, and HLG, and we’re still waiting on confirmation for DV.
The downside of the backlight is the monitor is quite thick, but if you need a quality display, that’s a reasonable tradeoff. It’ll launch in spring, and well… expect it to be freaking expensive.
