The latest Intel Arc and Iris Xe driver version 31.0.101.4514 has been released once again bringing gaming support and performance improvements of up to 313%.
The latest driver has introduced game-on driver support for both AEW: Fight Forever, a wrestling game due to release on the 29th of June, and Layers of Fear the narrative-focused psychological horror experience. Moving on to the information that is much more interesting, performance improvements. First off we have Assassin’s Creed Unity (DX11) which has received up to a whopping 313% uplift at 1440p high settings and 271% at 1080p with very high settings. Intel hasn’t shared any specific performance numbers but it’s good news for DX11 titles which Intel had struggled with in the past. Next up is F1 22 (DX12) which has received an acceptable 36% at 1080p high, 20% at 1440p high and 10% at ultra-high with raytracing enabled. Finally, we have Deathloop which has received up to 10% at 1080p ultra and up to 8% at 1440p Very High.
Once again Intel Arc is still crawling upwards, You can install this new driver from Intel.com.
