You don’t have to like League of Legends to be excited about the upcoming spinoff fighting game 2XKO, from its amazing drawn art style to its promise of easy-to-learn but hard-to-master mechanics. Now although the game may still be far away the developers have just announced that they will be having an Alpha Test.
2XKO (or to use its full name, 2XKO Alpha Labs) is a spinoff of League of Legends, a squad-based fighting game that has a beautiful art style reminiscent of Hi-Fi Rush. Over the last few months, the developers have been continually adding new champions to the roster, with over 140 LoL champions to add before the game comes out.
As mentioned before Riot talks about all the effort they are making to make the game accessible and fun for both new fighting game players and hardened veterans of the genre. So far, the game looks promising and might have the potential to become a worthy rival to other popular fighting games, much like Valorant did to Counter-Strike.
22XKO Alpha Labs will have its first Alpha testing from Thursday, August 8 to Monday, August 19 and players from the UK, USA, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, and France can take part.
