Leak Reveals Intel’s 14nm Xeon-D and Pentium-D Line-up

Intel first unveiled its Xeon-D processors, built on the 14nm Broadwell architecture and high-powered SoCs, way back in September 2014, but now, thanks to CPU World, we now have an updated line-up for both the Xeon-D and Pentium-D ranges, which now includes 12 and 16 core SKUs and caches of 18 to 24MB caches.

When we first glimpsed the Intel Xeon-D platform – formerly known as Broadwell DE – it consisted of the D-1518, D-1528, D-1537, D-1548, plus the Pentium D 1503, D 1507, D 1517. The updated line-up now includes the high-end Xeon D-1577, Xeon D-1567 and Xeon D-1557. The premier Xeon D-1577 boasts 16/32 cores/threads plus a 24MB cache. While the price is unknown, it is expected to launch during the 4^th quarter of 2015.
