The desktop line of Intel Arc series graphics is supposed to be made up of 3 levels, Arc 3, Arc 5 and Arc 7 lining up with the Intel Core i3-5-7-9 processor line, however, Arc 5 under the name A580 has not yet been released despite being revealed back at the launch of Arc. Today some performance information on this card has been leaked leaning towards a possible launch.
As shared by BenchLeaks (Via VideoCardz) a Geekbench 5 score for the Arc A580 was shared today with an 82992 OpenCL Score which is on par with the official score of the Radeon RX 7600 at 82981 giving us a good idea of the cards performance. The A580 features 24 Xe cores with a clock speed of 1700 MHz that boosted to 2400MHz in the geek bench score. This is paired up with 8GB of GDDR6 and a 256-bit memory bus and a 175W TDP.
With the recent releases of the A570M and A530M and this leak, it could very well mean that Intel is getting ready to release this card and it could land itself at an attractive price point. With the A750 already being an attractive budget option at around £230, this card could present another attractive option as it will no doubt be much cheaper than the competing RX 7600 at £269.
