Learn Guitar with FourChords Guitar Karaoke on Steam

Want to learn guitar, or even just pick up the tricks to expand your knowledge of many popular songs? Then we’ve got some great news, as FourChords Guitar Karaoke has arrived on Steam Early Access! Giving you the ability to learn your favourite songs in under an hour, the popular mobile app is now available on Windows and Mac via Steam, so you no longer have to stare at your small phone screen while trying to learn.

Created by Finnish developer Musopia, FourChords Guitar Karaoke uses a slick interface, as well as lessons from Justin Sandercoe (a.k.a. JustinGuitar). The real trick here however is that the entire songbook (100+ hit songs) can be played using only 11 chords – and no prior knowledge of guitars or music is required, although being able to play already is no excuse not to try learn more songs.

With the innovative Instant Play Method, you don’t need to know anything about tabs or sheet music because every song includes tutorial videos and chord demos. The Instant Play Method allows you to:

  • Adjust the tempo and transpose the key of any song
  • Customize backing tracks
  • Sing the lyrics of every song
  • Learn new skills or chords with tutorials from JustinGuitar.com

FourChords Guitar Karaoke is great for jamming with friends as well – allowing other guitarists (and singers!) to join in via the Karaoke-style lyrics display.

“Learning to play the guitar can be a very daunting task for new players. Thanks to our many years of experience working on music-related software, we knew that we could offer music fans a better way to learn guitar,” says Topi Lopponen, CEO of Musopia Oy. “With FourChords Guitar Karaoke, budding guitar players can effortlessly learn the basics while having a good time with their friends and family.”
