We’re finding it hard to comprehend how such a unique mouse has gone unnoticed by many for so long. Sure LEETGION are a relatively new brand, but the mouse has been on the market for several months already. This is probably down to little marketing in the effective regions, so we hope that this review will enlighten our readers that innovation still lives in such a swamped market, which normally suffers from a severe lack of creativity.

The Hellion is feature packed for mouse of it’s price point – it retails at approx £49, which is a very fair price for what you are getting. The mouse oozes quality: from the tactile, clicky Cherry Blue mechanical switch, to the materials – and even it’s packaging! The performance is on par with many of the top end mice we see from Mad Catz and Razer, with smooth, responsive movement from its gaming grade sensor. The software is intuitive and very easy to use, offering a great deal of customisation.

No mouse is perfect however, as the Hellion does indeed have it’s flaws. The shape is probably the main negative aspect as LEETGION have sacrificed comfort for style. The awkward shape does make it difficult to use some of the buttons, and you can say hello to pain if you use the claw grip – or if you rest your little finger on the bottom edge.

Other than these small issues regarding the comfort of the Hellion, we were very impressed with LEETGION’s offering. Its not everyday you see something new on an input device that has been around for many, many years, so we applaud LEETGION for thinking of the inclusion of a mechanical switch – whilst it may not be anything special, it sure brings a quality feel to the mouse and is a great pleasure to use. So for this leap in innovation, we’re happy to award the LEETGION Hellion gaming mouse with non other than the:

We look forward to your next mouse LEETGION!
