The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a very successful action-adventure game that was developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development and published for the GameCube and Wii Home consoles. The game was launched on November 19, 2006, and it looks like it might soon make its way to Wii U consoles, at least according to a recent rumour. The rumour is based on a new listing on eShop, which was discovered by users “zhuowei” and “NWPlayer123”, both of whom are known for hacking the Splatoon game for Nintendo. The two have discovered that the store has recently added a title ID for the game.
Even better, the game is listed as “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD,” which suggests that it won’t be just a simple port of the Gamecube version. Actually, if it turns out to be a proper remaster, the game could enjoy tremendous success. Still, it’s too early to form assumptions right now, as the title could very well just be a placeholder. If the rumours turn out to be true, though, would you consider giving the Twilight Princess a spin on your Wii U console? I know I would.
