Lenovo Announces $279 Flex 11 2-in-1 Convertible Chromebook
Lenovo has just announced an interestingly affordable 2-in-1 convertible Chromebook option for only $279 called the Flex 11 which can be used as a laptop or as a tablet when folded. The Flex 11 has an 11.6-inch touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, designed for running Chrome as well as Android apps for up to 10-hours of continuous use on a single charge.
Under the hood, the Flex 11 2-in-1 convertible is powered by a 2.1GHz quad-core ARM processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has storage expansion options in the form of an SD card slot, USB 3.0 port, and USB Type-C port. It also has an HDMI port for connecting into an external display and has volume control on the right side with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
While the hardware features are not exactly attention-grabbing, Lenovo has designed the Flex 11 to be more durable than most tablets, has a sealed touchpad, a water-resistant keyboard and improved drop-resistance.
