Lenovo has released details of its $200 tablet which will apparently be available well in time for the Christmas shopping rush. Coming in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB versions these tablets will be priced at $200, $249 and $299 respectively. The display is a 7inch 1024 by 600 LED backlit display and the whole tablet is powered by a single core A8 Cortex processor. The tablet also has front and rear cameras but the amount of megapixels wasn’t specified.
The tablet has WiFi connectivity and also has mSD and SD expansion so storage can easily be upgraded through the use of SD cards. The tablet has onboard GPS so it can be used for navigation too which is a nice feature given the price. Lenovo will be selling it in pink, white, blue and black colours. The tablet is protected by a magnesium alloy roll-cage which makes it more durable. The operating system will be Android as you might of expected.
