One of the big future technologies is transparent displays, we’ve seen it in sci-fi but now we are waiting for it to become a mainstream thing in the real world though its practicality is questionable. This technology has been done before but today some new exclusive news from WindowsReport has suggested that Lenovo are planning on implementing this technology in an upcoming laptop.
A Lenovo laptop with at transparent OLED display is Expected to be showcased at Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona later this month. The concept also appears to make use of a non-standard keyboard as the lower frame appears to feature glass with a projector style keyboard rather than physical keys, could be a deal breaker for some.
There aren’t many details on this concept though judging by the images we can safely assume it will use Windows 11. I can also assume this concept will come with a sizeable price tag though will likely be cheaper than previous attempts at transparent displays due to more advanced methods of constructing them. More information will be available from February 26th at the MWC 2024.
