Today alongside several others, Lenovo has unveiled a new selection of Chromebook Plus laptops featuring elevated hardware, AI-powered tools and other features to meet a variety of needs including productivity, day-to-day use and even cloud gaming with a 120Hz refresh rate display.
The first of these new Chromebook’s is the IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus with a 16″ display. This laptop comes with all the new built-in AI-powered video call tools to enhance the webcam and sound quality whilst also offering features to enhance the cloud gaming experience, gaming purely on a Chromebook isn’t quite a good choice yet. It features a 120 Hz refresh rate display as well as RGB backlighting allowing for a gaming experience without the need for high-end hardware, except a strong internet connection.
Alongside the gaming Chromebook is the new 14″ IdeaPad Flex 5i and Slim 3i. The Flex is a 2-in-1 laptop and tablet allowing for more versatility when working and is a great choice for creatives who like a tablet for creating their next art piece or photo. Alongside this is the IdeaPad Slim 3i which is a lightweight multitasker designed to be transported with ease.
“The adoption of remote and hybrid workplace coupled with the ability to be productive regardless of location have really highlighted the benefits of having a truly portable, capable yet affordable laptop,” said Benny Zhang, Director and General Manager of Chromebooks in Lenovo’s Global Innovation Center, Intelligent Devices Group. “The Lenovo IdeaPad Chromebook Plus family of laptops gives modern users the flexibility to be productive and the tools to be creative no matter where they are.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i Chromebook Plus (14″, 8) and IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook Plus (14″, 7) are now available in North America starting at $549.99 and $499.99 respectively. The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus (16″, 7) is not available in North America and is now available in EMEA starting at 599 euros (including VAT).
