Lenovo Unveils A275 and A475 AMD Pro Powered Thinkpads

Lenovo is announcing two new laptops for business users called the ThinkPad A275 and ThinkPad A475. Both sport the 7th generation AMD Pro A12 processors with Radeon R7-class graphics. Both will come with similar features and specification, and differentiate only through their monitor size. The ThinkPad A475 has a 12.5-inch display, while the ThinkPad A275 is slightly larger at 14-inches. The base model resolution starts at 1600 x 900 with Twisted Nematic (TN) panels. Although users can opt to upgrade to a full-HD 1920 x 1080 IPS panel display. There is also a touch panel upgrade option for those who prefer the feature.
Both new ThinkPad models are configurable for up to 16GB of DDR4 for memory. In terms of storage, users can choose between a traditional platter drive up to 1TB or a 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD. Since security is paramount for business users, these ThinkPad notebooks are available with a fingerprint reader as well. It is also fully compatible with Windows Hello bioauthentication. The AMD Pro systems are highly efficient and have promises more than ten hours of battery life on a single charge.
AS for connectivity, both have 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE-A mobile broadband, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Four USB 3.0 ports are available, one of which is a Type-C. There is even a card reader and a headphone port.
Lenovo A275 and A475 ThinkPad Pricing
The Lenovo ThinkPad A275 starts at only $869 USD, and is on the calendar for an October arrival. The ThinkPad A475 on the other hand, starts at an even lower price of $849, and will be available soon within September.
