Conclusion
As flash drives come, the JumpDrive S45 is a very small flash drive that will fit seamless into your system no matter the usage scenario. The nano-design is perfect for always-in scenarios, whether it is externally or internally. The tiny size will make sure that surrounding ports are blocked and their access won’t be restricted while the drive is in use.
With up to 128GB capacity and a performance of up to 150MB/s, the drive packs a lot of power for its size. We did see the performance drop as the drive filled with data, but that is mostly because it starts out a lot faster than what it rated for. Even when loaded with data, the JumpDrive S45 is able to deliver the performance that it promises – the extra speed is just a bonus when it isn’t fully occupied.
The bonus that comes with the EncryptStick Lite software adds further to the value of the already cheaply priced drive. Protect your files with an advanced 256-bit AES encryption and make sure that your confidential files stay confidential, even if the drive should fall into the wrong hands.
Pros
- Compact nano form-factor
- Good performance
- Cheap price
- 256-bit AES Encryption through software.
Cons
- None
“A tiny size, a large capacity, and a solid performance for very little money makes the Lexar JumpDrive S45 a winner in my book.”
