Lexar has revealed its new NM790 PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD offering exceptional performance designed for gamers, professionals and creators.

The NM790 from Lexar is a PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD that provides exceptional performance with speeds of up to 7400MB/s read and 6500MB/s write making it 2x faster than the previous gen 3 drives. This SSD also uses up to 40% less power than DRAM Cache-enabled Gen 4 SSDs which makes it brilliant for conserving battery life on portable devices such as laptops. Furthermore, this M.2 SSD is fully compatible with the PlayStation 5 console enabling users to expand their storage up to 2TB.
