As expected for an IPS panel, the screen is capable of 178-degree viewing angles and has a good dynamic contrast ratio, although the exact figure hasn’t been disclosed just yet. On another note, the monitor supports FreeSync technology to eliminate screen tearing and stutter. Connectivity-wise, the LG 24UD58-B contains an HDMI 2.0 port and DisplayPort 1.2a. The only aspect which looks a little suspect is the stand which could have the propensity to wobble. Of course, I might be wrong and could only know this for sure by testing the monitor. Overall, it’s a great entry point into 4K for users who enjoy a higher PPI rate or haven’t got the room to store a 27-inch model.
