Google’s Nexus-branded products are all the rage right now, riding on the success of the company’s collaboration with ASUS which gave birth to the Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 was the first Android device to run Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean”, and now we’re staring down the barrel of another Nexus release, this time from LG.
French national newspaper Le Figaro is reporting that LG are set to unveil their Nexus-branded smartphone “Nexus 4” later on in the month. The paper has reported that the Nexus 4 will see its global debut on October 29, before it arrives in France where it’ll jump on the Vodafone-owned SFR network in December.
Le Figaro have hinted that the Nexus 4 could enjoy a product launch as well as the global unveiling, where we could see actual availability of the device at the same time.
It’s not long now until we see if Google can have lightning strike twice – first with the Nexus 7, and now with LG’s Nexus 4.
