It looks like LG could be onto a big winner heading into the New Year, with the company rumoured to be working on a duo of new ultra-wide monitors with 21:9 aspect ratios. Better yet, they will both support AMD’s answer to NVIDIA’s G-SYNC technology, FreeSync.
We should expect a 29-inch and 34-inch model, with both panels being based on the quality IPS technology while the 29-inch monitor has a resolution of 2560×1080, but the 34-inch should be the key to gamers with a resolution of 3440×1440. Both panels should feature 10-bit per channel colour, but it will be the FreeSync technology that has people talking.
