LG Reveals a New 4K Monitor with AMD FreeSync Support

Just a quick question: is your graphics card powerful enough to deliver playable framerates in 4K? Well, you might want to consider replacing it soon if it’s not, because LG has just announced an outstanding new 4K monitor that flaunts an IPS panel as well as AMD FreeSync support. The LG 27MU67 will become available for the first time in the States later in June, and it was designed to deliver a high-end experience for gaming enthusiasts.

It measures 26.3-inches diagonally and offers a resolution of 3840 x 2160. When in FreeSync mode, it features a refresh range of 40 to 60Hz, which is respectable. The In-Plane Switching panel provides impressive viewing angles and comes with a Dynamic Action Sync mode that can reduce input lag to just 9.7 milliseconds. For a touch of versatility, a Game Mode hotkey allows the user to optimize the monitor’s settings for each individual game in order to obtain the best possible experience. Even though it was designed with gaming in mind, the 27MU67 can also be used conventionally thanks to its Flicker Safe function that lowers eyestrain during prolonged working sessions.
