LG has launched their new UltraGear 49GR85DC-B Ultrawide 32:9 curved gaming monitor. The monitor boasts a huge 49″ size with a 5120×1440 display and 240Hz refresh rate.
This new monitor from LG comes with all the features you’d expect from a high-end gaming monitor and is ideal for ultrawide lovers. At a size of 49″ this monitor features a stunning 32:9 5120×1440 curved display to fully envelop you into immersive and vivid gameplay. The monitor supports plenty of features to enhance gaming as well as picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes for productivity.
The ultrawide display features a VA panel with a max refresh rate of 240Hz with AMD-Freesync as well as a response time of 1 ms for quick reactions in intense and fast-paced games. The display features an anti-glare surface and minimum brightness of 350 cd/m² as well as a typical brightness of 450 cd/m². The Viewing angles are wide with 178° right to left and 178° up and down. When it comes to colours the display features a 1.07 billion Colour depth and a DCI-P3 95% rating and supports DisplayHDR 1000 to provide exceptional colour and contrast for HDR gaming.
The Display also features Picture in Picture as well as picture by picture which allows you to display from two separate inputs effectively turning one monitor into a dual monitor setup allowing you to also use two separate devices on one display.
This monitor features a striking ‘Gamer’ design with bezel-less borders as well as a sharp rear design featuring RGB LED Hexagon lighting on its back panel. When it comes to ports the monitor features 2 HDMI ports as well as a single DisplayPort. The display features a headphone output for audio as well as a microphone and 3 USB ports, 1 upstream and 2 downstream on USB 3.0. The display has its power connector in the rear and has a max consumption of 240W.
The display with its stand comes in at 46.1″ x 14.7″ x 9.3″ (WxHxD) and weighs 32.5 lbs. The included stand allows for adjustments with a height adjustment of up to 110mm, a tilt angle of -5º ~ 15º and a swivel angle of -15º ~ 15º. If the included stand isn’t for you the display is supported to be wall mounted or used with a different stand on a standard VESA 100×100 mount.
The display features many “Advanced Gaming Features” which are accessible through the on-screen controls and enhanced gaming GUI.
