Lian Li 011 Dynamic Der8auer PC Case Review

Exterior
First impressions of the 011 Dynamic are very promising. The exterior of the case looks absolutely fantastic, with two sides of tempered glass. The glass is fitted nice and flush too. The clean look comes from the unique mounting system, as it doesn’t require any screws to hold the glass in place like many other tempered-glass cases.
It has two pegs that hold it into the bottom of the frame, and some hidden on the inside, so it slots down into some key-shaped slots. The end result speaks for its self; a very clean and tight finish for all panels.
Airflow
A huge amount of effort has gone into radiator support and airflow on this case. Up on the top, there’s a large ventilated section, which can support up to a 360mm radiator.
Tucked onto the inside of it, a magnetic dust filter allows for clean airflow and easy maintenance.
Showcase
The front panel is mostly glass too. Much like the left side panel, this one lifts out too, which frees up lots of elbow room to install your hardware. It’ll also make it easier to simply remove the glass and clean it; glass does love fingerprint marks after all.
I/O
The front panel is tucked into the top right too. Here, you’ll find the power button, two USB 3.0 ports, HD audio jacks, and a Type-C port.
I love the attention to detail though, with the aluminium milled away around the edges of each port; it’s the little details that add up to a premium product.
Much like the side panel, the glass is nice and clear too. If you fancy showing off your build, this is going to be a great case to do it.
Even More Airflow
The right side panel is dotted with ventilation too. There’s a huge vertical air vent towards the front. Again, this one will support a 360mm radiator on the right side of the case. There’s more ventilation near the rear, which is for giving airflow to the PSU as well as the HDD bays.
Around the Back
The rear I/O is as you would expect. It offers up room for an ATX motherboard with eight expansion slots for your graphics cards and similar devices. It is located low down though, ensuring the motherboard doesn’t conflict with any top mounted radiators.
There’s a removable panel at the back. Behind that, you’ll find 2 x 3.5″ HDD bays located behind the motherboard.
All of the expansion slot covers are metal, and all of them are reusable. You won’t find any of those cheap snap-off pieces of crap on something as nice as this. There’s also a mount for an ATX PSU rotated 90-degree; it mounts behind the motherboard.
Underside
Finally, the base of the chassis has yet ANOTHER 360mm fan/radiator mount. And just like every other air vent on the chassis, it has a fully removable magnetic dust filter too.
