To remove the side panels, you must first remove the top panel from the case. Behind it, you’ll find (surprise, surprise), another magnetic dust filter.
Of course, if you life that out of the way, you’ll find a plethora of fan/radiator mounts for you to take advantage of.
With the glass lifted out of the side, you have a fantastic amount of space on the interior. OK, I’ll admit that this isn’t the smallest chassis in the world to begin with. However, with moving all the storage bays out of the way, you’ve got a lot of unobstructed space here. This is great news for those fitting a custom loop.
While the base of the chassis can support radiators or fans, it also has two 2.5″ SSD mounts. These are movable though, so you can put them on any of the similar vents as you see fit.
One little detail that I absolutely love is this aluminium plate at the rear. It has the Lian Li… you know what, you can see what it says, they’re words! I would love to cut my own though and put a custom logo on it, the eTeknix logo most likely.
The motherboard plate has most of the stand-offs pre-installed, which should speed up the installation process. Plus, there’s an absolutely massive CPU cooler mounting cut-out behind the motherboard. Above the motherboard, you’ll find a huge cable routing grommet, although there are some smaller holes dotted around too.
There’s a bunch more cable grommets to the right of the motherboard too. They’re all angled away, so your cables shouldn’t bunch up and will have a smoother bend coming to the motherboard.
Towards the front, we get a better look at the side panel radiator/fan mount. There’s room enough here to put the radiator on either side of the mount too, and it’s a great way to show off the radiator/fans too.
Not forgetting this area in the base is ideal for fitting pumps and reservoirs should you need to.
There’s quite a bit of room back here too, but then again, the chassis is quite wide.
Behind the motherboard, there’s a removable HDD caddy for the 3.5″ drives. Of course, you can fit 2.5″ drives if you desire too.
There’s also a huge vertical mounting plate that both acts as a cable tidy, and a HDD mount.
There are key-hole mounts all the way down it, allowing you to suspend HDD/SSDs from it.
The PSU mount is simple enough too. It mounts on its side, so not to make the chassis any wider than it all is. Plus, there is plenty of room for cable routing and storage here too.
The whole chassis is pretty robust, and the steel frame should have zero issues dealing with the weight of your hardware. Especially so if you’re fitting 3 x 360mm radiators. That being said, with all these air vents, even air cooled builds are going to benefit hugely.
