Lian Li Announces The PC-18 Mid Tower Chassis In the UK

Lian Li’s new PC-18 mid-tower chassis is one that looks ordinary but sleek on the outsides, but that story changes once it is opened and you can take a look at the inside. The mid-tower chassis comes at a very reasonable price of £199.90 and has a compact size, but plenty of space for high-end setups.
The Lian Li PC-18 is only 210mm wide, 452mm high, and 490mm deep, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t fill it to the top with great hardware. There is room for a full-sized ATX motherboard and a PSUs with a length up to 160mm. The CPU cooler clearance is up to 160mm and graphics cards can be up to 285mm long with the drive cage mounted, up to 410 when the cage is removed.
The beauty of the case really lies in the cooling abilities. To start with, you get two 120mm fans in the front behind the mesh and room for a 140mm at the top of the chassis. There is no fan on the rear, which usually is the normal place to put the exhaust vent, instead the PC-18 has a side mounted exhaust that can hold a radiator up to 360mm (3x 120mm) or 280mm (2x 140mm). It will be mounted on a swing-out arm, allowing you to move it to the side while installing, upgrading, or maintaining the system.
You get two external 5.25-inch drive bays with a tool-less mounting design for optical drives on the PC-18. Inside you can fit up to five 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives and one extra 2.5-inch drive. Plenty of room for plenty of storage.
The PC-18 will be available in black and silver versions in Early November at Overclockers UK for £119.90. Could this be the case for your next build?
