Lian Li Announces PC-Q38 Mini-ITX Chassis
Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
Lian Li is adding a new mini-ITX option to their aluminium chassis line up called the PC-Q38. Users can even use it as a mini-tower or put it sideways as a home-theater PC. All they need to do is move the feet to the side that goes to the bottom. The front only has the power button in the center so it remains clean and non-distracting in the living room. It also has a curved front panel along the sides which makes it look more appealing than typical box cases.
The left side panel (or top panel, depending on how you mount it) has a viewing window. This lets users show off their hardware if they want to. Two expansion slots are available for use with a graphics card on a mini-ITX motherboard as well.
Users can install either a regular ATX or smaller SFX power supply unit. Although the bracket for the alternative mount costs extra. The PC-Q38 can even fit a 240 mm radiator (with a maximum length of 260mm and max thickness of 50mm). CPU cooler height clearance is up to 145 mm. Graphics cards on the other hand can be up to 315 mm long.
Price and Availability
The Lian Li PC-Q38 is available now at Newsegg.com for US$109.99. Users can choose between a silver or black finish.
