Lian Li Announces PC-Q39 Mini-ITX Tempered Glass Case
Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
Renowned aluminum chassis manufacturer Lian Li is introducing the new PC-Q39. It is a mini-ITX case with tempered glass side panels, and is actually the evolution of the PC-Q37. The new PC-Q39 supports full-size ATX power supplies and improves graphics card support.
The Lian Li PC-Q39 is fairly large for a mini-ITX case, measuring 252 x 348 x 346mm. This makes it easy to build a system in, and also manage the cabling inside. It lacks an external 5.25″ drive bay at the front so it maintains a clean, brushed aluminum look. The ventilation comes from the side vents running along the front and the bottom sides.
To keep the main chamber free of clutter, the power supply is in a different chamber along with the storage drives. This frees up the main motherboard chamber for high-end water-cooling installation. There are several routing holes for moving cables across both chambers of course and there are filters on all intakes.
In terms of component support, users can install graphics cards up to 300mm long and up to 6mm thick. For CPU air coolers, users are a bit limited to 120mm tall units. There is a 240mm radiator mounting support at the top however, with an 80mm clearance.
Pricing and Availability
The Lian Li PC-Q39 has an MSRP of $209.99 and is now available on NewEgg.com
