We have some good news for those of you who were looking for a nice new chassis for your next Mini-ITX build. Lian-Li has launched its PC-Q04 Mini Tower Chassis, which offers a great balance between breathing room and compactness. The case comes with a rather simple design, and one of its most noteworthy features comes in the form of several big vents. The side vent was designed in such a way as to allow the PSU to draw in and push out its own air while the floor panel, the bottom left and right vents allow the GPU to take in plenty of air without constraining the CPU in any way. Warm air is pushed out from the case via a rear panel vent while four rubber feet elevate the case slightly in order to support airflow through the bottom vent.
The Lian Li PC-Q04 makes use of a vertical-mounted Mini-ITX system layout, and it supports a full ATX size PSU that can be mounted on the opposite end of the CPU. Speaking of the CPU, it can receive coolers of up too 70mm, which shouldn’t be too hard to find. Video cards of up to 190mm also fit inside nicely, and there’s also room for a 3.5″ or 2.5″ hard drive on the floor panel and for two more drives on a removable tray inserted at the top of the case. As for the front panel, it includes just a pair of USB 3.0 ports and HD audio ports. The back panel, however, features two expansion slots, cut-outs for the motherboard and PSU, as well as a large vent.
