Interior
The top is the only true removable aspect of the outer shell, but gives you access to every part of the inside. You will immediately be greeted with a set of three cages for mounting various drives including 2.5″, 3.5″ and also an optical drive. All three cages are removable to make installation a breeze, especially if you plan to install quite a few drives.
Once the cages have been removed, it will show the amount of room that you have to work with. Bearing in mind that we already know the form factors that this case supports (Micro ATX, Mini DTX, Mini ITX) so you should have a rough idea on the placement and space you should have. As said earlier on in this review, the case sports two pre-supplied 120mm fans on the side which both have 3-pin fan connectors if you wish to connect to your motherboard for a quiet operation. Sadly the board we have chosen to use in this case (Asus E35M1-Pro Fusion Micro-ATX board) doesn’t include mass amounts of fan headers, so we are forced to use the 3-pin to Molex adapters instead, which obviously leads to a slightly increased noise level but nothing too much to worry about.
