Lian Li PC-CK101 “Train” M-ITX Chassis Review

Lets start with the carriage section, from the front left panel we can see that the carriage is made from several panels which have been screwed together. The side panel features two amber tinted windows and lots of little bumps that resemble rivets.

Here we see a quick release thumb screw in the top left, this is one of four screws required to access the interior of the carriage. There are three clip-in holes, one at the top and two at the bottom, these are used to join the carriages, but we’ll get to that part later. There is a high quality dust filter, behind which you’ll find a high quality 120mm air intake fan.

At the bottom of the back of the chassis we have a rubber grommet that covers a wide cable routing hole, above which we have a hood that will hide the cable routing area between the carriage and the engine component.

The right side panel features the same fake rivet design as the left panel, although it does not feature any windows as this would only show you the back of the motherboard with components installed.

At the back we have a cutout for the motherboard I/O panel, a small circular routing hole and some ventilation. Unfortunately there is no expansion slot.

There are four fully functional wheels on the chassis, these are made from plastic and yes, you totally can roll the cars up and down the track or along the floor should you wish. There are some small mounting holes in the base of the chassis also and these are used to screw a 2.5″ hard drive to the interior base of the chassis.
