Working on this chassis was an absolute pleasure, it’s very well designed and everything was intuitive to use. Removing the HDD bay makes it nice and easy to screw your drives into place, while also giving you space to slot your PSU into the chassis.
The motherboard standoffs are pre-installed, so just screw it in place and you’re good to go.
Cable routing seemed tricky, but when you close the case up, they’re all held nicely out of the way in the lower section.
More than enough room here, even if you’re using a hard-wired PSU and still more room to route your HDD cables.
The front panel HDD mounts are nice, and kept out of the way of the motherboard, leaving you with more room for a larger CPU air cooler, or even a 120mm AIO water cooler on the rear fan mount.
Some of the cables do route a little awkwardly, but given this chassis doesn’t have a window section and the cables are out of the way of hardware and their fans, it’s far from being an issue.
All panels back in place and the PC-Q34 looks as stunning as it did when we took it out of the box. You can just about make out components through the side panels, but not by much and even then, only at certain angles.
