Lian Li PC-Z60 Aluminium Mid-Tower Chassis Review
BundleAs with most Lian Li cases, they have supplied a huge selection of added extras and accessories, starting with a product catalogue, so you can buy some added extras to accompany your stylish, new case.
An installation guide is also included which folds out and gives lots of detailed pictures and descriptions on the various installation procedures.
Three seperate bags of screws are included for installation of the different aspects of the case including drives, power supply and motherboard.
For a brief bit of cable management, they include two cable ties.
There is also a unique locking feature on this chassis, of which we will touch on later. This is why two keys are included with the case.
An interesting accessory, at least interesting to look at are the rails for installing your drives, and they really do give you enough for even the most extreme storage systems. Optical drives don’t use these as they have a pre-fitted level on the case.
You may find that your motherboard doesn’t support a native USB 3.0 header, so an ingenious idea behind this is to convert it to USB 2.0, of which Lian Li supply the adapter for.
Another great feature that Lian Li include is a detachable speaker, which being honest we usually swipe for our test benches as it proves fantastic for troubleshooting boot problems with motherboards.
Once you install you power supply, you may find this accessory especially helpful in use to lock your PSU into place. A novel feature, but could prove very functional.
very nice looking case!im really glad to see manufacturers finally incorporating the front usb 3 design into their cases!
Lol, I love the review sir Andy, and I must say the intro just made me keep reading. XD
Must admit that you get what you pay for, great design, would never pay so much though will have to win one from you Andy LOL. So that was what the keys are for locking the drive bays, though they were some kind of security feature, like that you get four fans installed, and hot swap bays brill, theres alot to like about this case, bit plain IMHO, but still like it. I an a fan of the mesh look.
Need info about the “Maximum Video Card Size”.

… finally found thank to another review: about 7.4Kg
Have any of you guys ever seen a Mac Pro case?

To call this dog's breakfast "Elegant, Stylish, Solid build quality and Superb Functionality" leaves me gobsmacked.
"Cable tidying is a simple task" ROTFL!
It is like discussing food and the comparison never goes past Maccas, Pizza Hut and KFC because that's all anyone seems to have tried.
Comparing this to a Mac Pro case is like comparing an apple to a pear i'm afraid. They are two different type of products, aimed at different markets and have completely different price tags.
Excuses, excuses. They are both just computer cases.
One designed to really work, the other a box thrown together by a sheet metal worker.
I've had t he same 3 Lian-Li cases for 9 years now… thru multiple builds. Slapped together by a sheetmetal worker? Not likely.
